Videre Studios is a creative visual studio rooted in outdoor storytelling, travel imagery, and the power of seeing the world differently. Inspired by the Latin word videre, meaning “to see,” the studio exists to capture stories that foster deeper connections to nature, culture, and human experience.
Built from a passion for exploration and authenticity, Videre Studios began as a solo vision shaped by travel, observation, and a desire to document the world with intention. Through landscape photography, documentary-style imagery, and cinematic storytelling, the studio focuses on creating visuals that reflect both the environment and the emotion tied to it.

Originally from southern Virginia, Dot is a visual storyteller whose work blends landscape, travel, street, drone, and cinematic photography to document the world through a more intentional lens. He founded Videre Studios as a creative space centered on exploration, authenticity, and meaningful visual storytelling.
Grounded in nature, culture, and everyday human experience, his work focuses on capturing environments and moments that are often overlooked but deeply felt. His evolving creative direction includes cinematography and film photography, with a growing emphasis on immersive travel and documentary-style storytelling.
For Dot, photography is not simply about capturing images, it is about witnessing moments, preserving perspective, and creating connection through visual narrative.
